01

The basics

What is Huefield?

A small invitation to notice more. Choose a color, find it in the world around you, and photograph nine examples. Your discoveries become a collection you can keep or share.

When can I get it?

Huefield is coming soon for iPhone. There is no announced release date yet. This website will be updated with the App Store link when it is available.

Do I have to use today's color?

No. Reveal the daily color for a little surprise, choose one of the preset colors, or choose your own custom color. Follow whatever catches your eye.

Can I hunt without an internet connection?

Yes. Choosing colors, photographing finds, analyzing color, and viewing saved hunts happen on your device. Purchases and restoring Pro require the App Store; sharing through another service may also need a connection.

02

Hunts & exports

Why nine photographs?

Nine finds make a complete 3 × 3 grid. You can fill the squares in any order and return to an unfinished hunt later. A classic hunt follows one color; a Pro Palette Hunt follows three colors, with three photographs for each.

Does every color have to be a perfect match?

Not at all. The match indicator is a guide, not a pass-or-fail test. Huefield samples color near the center of your photograph, and lighting, shadows, and reflections can change the result. Get a little closer, try a different angle, or keep the imperfect match that you love.

How do I save or share a hunt?

Open a completed hunt and its export preview, then choose Save or Share. The free export is a square photo grid with Huefield branding. Pro adds Print layouts, portrait and story sizes, titles and dates, and exports without the watermark.

Save adds an image to Photos after you grant permission. Share opens your device's share sheet, where you choose the destination.

03

Photos & privacy

My camera or Save button isn't working. What should I check?

Open your iPhone's Settings, find Huefield under Apps, and review its Camera and Photos permissions. Camera access is needed to photograph a find; permission to add images to Photos is needed to save an export.

Return to Huefield and try again. If saving still fails, check that your device has free storage. You can also try Share to choose another destination.

Do you upload my photos?

No. Huefield analyzes your photos on your phone and does not upload them. You choose when to share an image or save an export to Photos. Apple device backups and iCloud Photos may handle copies depending on your settings; those are separate from Huefield.

What happens when I delete a hunt?

The hunt is removed from your local collection, and Huefield removes its associated app-owned photo files. This does not delete exports already saved to Photos or copies you shared elsewhere. Manage those separately. There is no Huefield cloud copy from which to restore a deleted hunt.

Will my hunts sync to a new phone?

Huefield does not have an account or its own cloud-sync service. Your device backup may include app data, depending on your settings, but Huefield cannot guarantee recovery. Save the exports you want to keep before removing the app or changing devices.

04

Huefield Pro

What does Huefield Pro include?

Pro opens your full Color Atlas, Palette Hunts with three colors, Print layouts, portrait and story export sizes, titles and dates, and watermark-free exports. Classic color hunts and branded square grid exports are available without Pro.

Is Huefield Pro a subscription?

No. Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, processed by Apple. The app shows the current price for your App Store region before you buy.

How do I restore a previous Pro purchase?

Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase, connect to the internet, and open Huefield's Settings → Restore Purchases. You can also restore from the Huefield Pro screen.

If no purchase is found, check the Apple Account used for Media & Purchases in your iPhone settings. Restoring an existing purchase does not buy Pro again. TestFlight and local test purchases do not transfer into a production App Store purchase.

A purchase is pending or I need a refund. What now?

A pending purchase may need approval through Apple. Wait for that approval rather than starting another purchase. For refund requests, use Apple's Report a Problem service. If Pro still does not unlock after a completed purchase and restore, email support without including payment-card details.
