Huefield is a color-hunting app. This policy explains how information is handled in the app, on this website, and when you contact support.
The short versionYour hunts belong to you. Huefield doesn't upload your photos. Sharing, Apple services, website hosting, and support email are explained separately below.
01 / THE APP
Photos and color analysis
Photos you take in Huefield and their color analysis are processed on your device. Huefield does not send your photos, captured colors, or hunt history to a Huefield server or an external image-analysis service.
The app stores your hunts, photo files, color-match results, and associated dates locally so you can return to your collection. It also stores preferences, onboarding progress, and purchase entitlement information on your device.

Camera and Photos permissions
Huefield uses your camera when you open the capture experience to photograph a color. Color matching happens on your phone. The app does not request microphone or location access.
When you choose to save an export, Huefield requests permission to add that image to Photos. It does not request access to browse your photo library. You can manage permissions in your device's Settings.
04 / THE APP
Purchases
Huefield Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. Huefield does not receive your payment-card details. The app uses information supplied by the App Store to determine whether Pro is available and to restore a previous purchase.
Apple handles purchase information under its own terms and privacy policy. Purchasing and restoring require a connection to the App Store.

Analytics and local usage counters
Product telemetry is disabled in the release version of Huefield. The release app does not send product-analytics events to TelemetryDeck.
The app keeps some aggregate feature-use counters on the device, such as the number of export or purchase actions. These local counters contain no photos, colors, titles, filenames, or timestamps and are not transmitted by Huefield. They are distinct from remote analytics.
Internal development builds can use test telemetry when explicitly configured. That development behavior is not enabled in the release app described by this policy.
06 / THE APP
Storage and deletion
Removing a photo or deleting a hunt removes it from Huefield's local collection and schedules removal of the associated app-owned photo files. Deleting the app removes its local app data; offloading an app is different and may preserve its documents and data.
Deleting a hunt or the app does not delete images you saved to Photos, copies you shared elsewhere, or existing device backups. Manage those copies in Photos, the service you shared with, or your backup settings. Huefield has no server-side photo collection to recover or delete for you.

When you contact support
If you email [email protected], your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to include are received to answer your request. Email is handled through the provider for this support address. Sending a support message is optional.
Please avoid sending sensitive information or photos unless you want to share them to explain a problem. For questions about information you have emailed, or to request its correction or deletion, contact the same address. Information in an email is separate from the app's locally stored hunts.
08 / THE WEBSITE
This website and Cloudflare
This website is hosted through Cloudflare. To deliver and protect the website, Cloudflare processes technical request information, which may include your IP address, request details, and information about your browser or device. Website traffic is separate from data stored in the Huefield app.
The website code does not include advertising trackers, a signup form, or product-analytics scripts. Fonts and images are served with the site. Hosting-level logs and security features are handled by Cloudflare; this is not a promise that visiting a website produces no technical records.
